Dallas County, Texas is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager. The successful incumbent will plan, organize, direct, and manage the Risk Management division in the Central HR Department to include managing professional and paraprofessional staff assigned to insurance, bond, workers compensation and safety. Acts as the county’s technical expert in assigned area; advises management and staff on areas of best practices; develops programs and policies and procedures to increase efficiencies and effectiveness in assigned areas; and ensures compliance with Dallas County’s policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
***Requirements include a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in insurance, business administration, human resources, law or related field. Masters degree preferred. Five (5) years of demonstrated progressive experience equivalent to skilled human resources experience and two (2) years experience in a supervisory or managerial position in assigned area of expertise.
