Departments

NACo has seven departments to fully serve its members. Each department has specific responsibilities and an experienced, talented staff that represent, assist and promote counties, as well as carry out the operations of the association.

A director heads each department and reports to the Executive Director. The department directors serve on the Management Team with the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Human Resources Director.

In addition, the Executive Management staff provides overall guidance and direction to the department directors and staff on implementing the Three-Year Plan and the goals of the association.

County Services

The County Services Department, or CSD, is the largest and most diverse department at NACo

Executive Management

Executive Management staff directs NACo staff on implementing the association's goals.

Finance & Administration

Included in the department are finance, human resources, building management and general services department.

Financial Services Corporation

The NACo Financial Services Corporation (FS Corp) conducts NACo's for-profit activities.

Information Technology

NACo's IT department helps counties address their information technology needs and supports NACo's IT needs.

Legislative Affairs

The Legislative Department is responsible for representing America's counties before Congress, the Administration and federal executive agencies.

Public Affairs

The Public Affairs Department is NACo's communication, marketing and membership department.
